Quaker Cove is the perfect base for exploring the San Juan Islands. Choose one of the many lakes on Fidalgo Island for swimming, canoeing, or hiking. Take a ferry and visit one of the other amazing islands for lunch, a bike ride, or whale watching tour. Visit the farmer's market or go antiquing in Anacortes or La Conner. There's something for everyone.
There is so much to do on our very own island. Lakes, beaches, and a mountain make the camp a convenient base for a ton of outdoor activities. You'll also find some amazing food just down the road from us. Click here for more information.
Just 10 minutes away, also on Fidalgo Island is the welcoming little town of Anacortes. Great food and shopping can be found along the main street as well as some other fun activities and a local farmer's market. For links and more click here.
Located near Padilla Bay and right on the Swinomish Channel, La Conner is a charming village and definitely worth a visit. Only a 20 minute drive from the camp, you will find great shopping with lots of unique boutiques and a great place to have lunch with a spectacular view of the channel. You can easily take a ferry from Anacortes for a day trip to Lopez Island, Shaw Island, Orcas Island, or Friday Harbor (on San Juan Island). To read more, click here.
